Hi everyone. Mel from ReachHealth here. So continuing on for our lower limb series today I want to talk to you about knee pain. Quite often knee issues are misdiagnosed as arthritis or miniscus or a tendon issue when in fact they can be a lot more going on with the knee. So some of the main areas that can influence the knee and cause knee pain are muscles at the front, through the back, and by the side as well. Two of the big ones we see here at ReachHealth that are commonly misdiagnosed is tight calves treating knee pain, and the muscle at the front of your knee called tibialis anterior creating knee pain as well. If you’d like to see some exercises related to these muscles please click the link below. And if you’d like to come in for an assessment of whats really causing your knee pain please feel free to book in. This has been Mel from ReachHealth. Have a good day.
