Hi everyone! Mel from ReachHealth here. This month we’re talking about neck pain. One of the causes of neck pain that some people aren’t aware of is actually the jaw. So clenching the jaw or tightness in your jaw creating tightness and discomfort in the neck. Why these two are connected is its actually impossible to tense your jaw without tensing your neck and vice versa. This happens because the connective tissues through the jaw are actually shared with a lot of the structures of the neck.
